The name Tiffany has long been associated with quality and jewelry. Tiffany and Company is one of the largest and most renowned jewelry companies in the world. From the founders of this company, the Tiffany family, came Louis Comfort Tiffany. Born in New York in 1848, he was the son of Charles Tiffany, the founder of Tiffany and Company, the highly respected jewelery company.

Louis Tiffany was remarkably talented and creative and made an indelible mark on the art community by designing stained glass windows, lamps, and other fine decorative jewelry. Louis Tiffany's lamps have been exhibited and sold worldwide. Louis was as successful a businessman as he was an artist. In 1902 he was named the First Design Director of Tiffany and Company.

Being a highly innovative and creative man, Louis Tiffany came up with the idea of gathering together the bits and pieces of discarded glass thrown off in the production of stained glass windows and using these pieces to form unique and beautiful decorative lamps. So beautiful and unique were his lamp creations that they became known as Tiffany Lamps.

Today you can still decorate your home with a vast array of Tiffany Lamps including chandeliers, floor lamps, table lamps and more, all created with that beautiful and unique style you can only find in genuine Tiffany Lamps.
