Dina and I were just emailing back and forth about the woes of shopping for cute bedding for our kids. (I know, we’re solving the world’s big problems, aren’t we?!) She has a house full of boys and I have a house full of girls and sometimes it seems like the choices are pretty limited and “samey-same”.
For boys there’s sports, camo and robots. For girls? It’s princesses, peace symbols and ponies. Sometimes it can get pretty boring and the hunt for something a little more “outside the box” is difficult.
So I’ve attempted to round up some of my favorite picks for kids bedding that might be a different twist on the classics. And while I fully admit to including camo and ponies in my picks, they’re done a little differently, in a way that makes for a new take on a tired trend.
